Pelagio from East Timor
Pelagio visits World Literature. A few facts. Pelagio wants to have his own Telecommunication company someday and next wants to attend a British university (Cambridge or Oxford). East Timor is the most recent democracy or independent country in the world. It was invaded by the Indonesian in recent times but remains independent. It is a mostly Catholic and traditional in many ways. The crocodile is very abundant in East Timor and is sacred to their people.
